Happy Canada Day week!

We're off tomorrow to spend a few days with my mom and dad and then off to the lake!!

I can't wait! As I was packing up, (and this involves ALOT of packing! They don't even provide bedding so it all has to come with.) I realized I actually want to go on a trip where I don't have to provide meals. just. once. That having been said...

I can't wait to spend a week in the sun (fingers crossed) with our best friends.

Happy Canada to all you Canadians! Have a wonderful week.

I saw a comment you made on a blog and knew I had to write to you. As you can see, I am Shays Ma. In other words, my daughter is Shay (Sharayah) so I am intrigued to find someone named Shay. Would love to hear more about your name. I got Sharayah from a song by Amy Grant. Have always called her Shay, or Shay Shay and she has friends that call her Ray as well.

Well, I guess I was wrong. You don't see my blog header (Shays Ma) when I comment on a post. Come by and see me.

Enjoy you trip and I hope you don't have to cook or clean too much. I know what you meant about spelling and pronouncing your name your whole life. My mother even had problems when I first told her. If the name is spelled SHARAYAH how in the world do people put an I in there?
